Activities:  Ch. 21 Test- Accounting for Publicly Held Corporations

Tuesday-

Topics:  Test results

Activities:  Students to receive back their graded Ch. 21 Tests. Time for questions over problems.  Students will then correct any questions/problems missed on notebook paper.  Must write out complete questions and complete answers.

Wednesday-

Topics:  Students to become familiar with new chapter vocabulary

Activities:  Students to define the vocabulary for Ch. 22 (Cash Funds)

Thursday-

Topics:  The Change Fund

Activities:  Students to take notes, participate in discussion and practice problems, then complete the Ch. 22, Section 1 Check your understanding on p. 604 in book. Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip the communicating accounting section, then complete Problems 22-1 and 22-2 using the appropriate workbook pages.  Due at the first of class Friday.

Friday- SUB

Topics:  The Petty Cash Fund

Activities:  Students to read pp. 605-614 in book and fill in the appropriate blanks in their notes.  Students are to then complete the Ch. 22 Section 2 Check your understanding on p. 614 in book.  Complete the 2 Thinking Critically questions, skip computing in the business world, then complete Problem 22-3 using the appropriate workbook page.  Due at the first of class Monday.

Activities:  Ch. 21 worksheets due. Exchange and grade.  Time to discuss any questions or problems with assignment as needed.

Activities:  Students to participate in test review game. Winning students will receive 5 bonus points towards their test grade.

Topics:  Reinforcement activity will help students integrate their learning of how to use the special journals and the general journal for a merchandising business called In-Touch Electronics.

Activities:  Students will work on assigned mini-practice set 4  on pp. 544-547 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.  Packet will count as two daily grades and one test grade and will be due at the end of class Friday, April 7, 2017.
