Tuesday-

Topics: Purchasing Items needed by a business

Activities:  Students to take notes and participate in class discussion and practice problems.  They will then complete Ch. 15 Section 1 Check your understanding on p. 392 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Wednesday-

Topics:  Analyzing and Recording Purchases on Account

Activities:  Students to take notes and participate in class discussion and practice problems.  They will then complete Ch. 15 Section 2 Check your understanding on p. 400 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Thursday-

Topics:  Analyzing and Recording Cash Payments

Activities:  Students to take notes and participate in class discussion and practice problems.  They will then complete Ch. 15 Section 3 Check your understanding on p. 408  in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Friday-

Topics:  Reinforcement of Ch. 15 material

Activities:  Students to begin work on Ch. 15 worksheets.  Will be due at the end of class Tuesday.

Activities:  Problem review packet due.  Exchange and grade. Discuss.  Review for Unit test over Ch. 1-11 material.  Test will count twice in gradebook.  Test on Thursday.

Wednesday-

**All juniors to take ASVAB test with Mr. Hale today.  All other students to please bring something to work on.**

Thursday- Friday

Topics:  Review of Ch. 13 material

Homework:  Get classroom procedures signed by parent and parent subscribed to Accounting II blog by Friday, August 29 (Daily grade). Also, need to try and have school supplies by Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Wednesday-

Test userids/passwords; begin review of Accounting I material packet

Review the basics of blogs and e-portfolios from Mr. Scott Floyd

Welcome to Accounting II

Welcome to Accounting II!  In this class students will continue learning how to keep the financial records for  a business including preparing financial statements for a corporation, payroll accounting, accounting for special procedures, and accounting for other forms of business.

Prerequisite:  Accounting I

Supplies needed:
pencils
red pen
pink eraser
earbuds or headphones
2 packages of lined 3 x 5 notecards

Assessment:  Students are to take notes, participate in discussion and practice problems.  Students will then complete the Ch. 25  Section 2 Check your understanding on p. 688 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.
