Assessment:  Students to exchange and grade Ch. 24 worksheets.  They will then participate in test review game. Winning team will receive 5 bonus points on Ch. 24 Test.

Tuesday-

Objective:  Test knowledge of Ch. 24 material (Uncollectible Accounts Receivable)

Assessment:  Ch. 24 Test over Uncollectible Accounts Receivable

Assessment:  Students to complete the assigned Ch. 24 problems.  Completed worksheets will be due by the first of class Thursday.

Objective:  Review knowledge of Ch. 24 material (Uncollectivle Accounts Receivable)

Assessment:  Ch. 24 worksheets due. Exchange and grade. Students will then participate in Ch. 24 test review game.

Tuesday-

Objective:  The Allowance method of Uncollectible Accounts

Assessment:  Students to take notes, participate in practice problems, then complete the Ch. 24 Section 2 Check your understanding on p. 666 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Wednesday-

Objective:  Estimating Uncollectible Accounts Receivable

Assessment-  Students to read pp. 667-670 then complete the Ch. 24 Section 3 Check your understanding on p. 670 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Thursday-

Objective:  Estimating Uncollectible Accounts Receivable

Assessment:  Students to take notes, participate in practice problems, then finish or make any corrections to  Ch. 24 Section 3 Check your understanding as needed.

Monday-

Objective:  The Direct Write-Off Method

Assessment:  Students to read pp. 652-657 then complete the Section 1 Check your understanding on p.657 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Tuesday-

Objective:  The Allowance Method

Assessment:  Students to read pp. 658-666 then complete the Section 2 Check your understanding on p.666 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Wednesday-

**Students to bring something to read or work on.  No new assignment due to so many students being out for band and track.

Thursday-

Objective: Estimating Uncollectible Accounts Receivable

Assessment:  Students to read pp. 667-670 then complete the Section 3 Check your understanding on p.670 in book and corresponding pages in workbook.

Friday-

Objective:  wrap up of six weeks

Assessment:  Students will need to turn in any unused restroom passes for bonus points.  They will then receive printouts of their current average for the six weeks.  Average and any missing assignments will be discussed.  Time will be given to makeup any missing tests or assignements.  Students have the opportunity to get the progress report signed for an extra daily 100 if brought back by next Tuesday.

Objective- Calculating Depreciation

Assessment-  Students to read pp. 630-631 and complete the Section 2 Check  your understanding Thinking Critically questions on p. 632 in book and problems 23-2 & 23-3 on pp. 658-659 in workbook.

Wednesday-

Objective- Accounting for Depreciation Expense at the End of the Year

Assessment-  Students to read pp. 633-640 and complete the Section 3 Check  your understanding Thinking Critically questions on p. 641 in book and problems 23-4 & 23-5 on pp. 659-660 in workbook.

Thursday-

Objective-  Discuss  Plant Assets and Depreciation

Assessment-  Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions and clarification over problems 23-1 thru 23-5 and be given time to correct and/or complete any parts of Sections 1-3 Check your understandings.  Corrected problems will be due by the first of class Friday.

Friday-

Objective-  Plant Assets and depreciation

Assessment- Students will begin the rest of the Ch. 23 worksheets as assigned.

Non-UIL accounting students-  Students are to review their knowledge of Ch. 22 material by completing problems 22-6 (p. 642), 22-8 (pp.648-650), and 22-9.  Problems will be due by the first of class Monday, March 24.

UIL Accounting students will work on UIL accounting concepts in preparation of Thursday’s meet

Friday-

Non-UIL accounting students-  Students are to review their knowledge of Ch. 22 material by completing problems 22-6 (p. 642), 22-8 (pp.648-650), and 22-9.  Problems will be due by the first of class Monday, March 24.

UIL Accounting students-  discuss results of Thursday’s meet.  Discuss wildcard and regional meet.

Activities:  Students to take notes, participate, then complete the check your understanding on p. 588 in textbook and p. 612 in workbook.
